PAPUA - The Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) 501/BY, a unit under HABEMA Operations Command in Papua, once again demonstrated its dedication to the community by swiftly assisting a local farmer who suffered a serious machete injury while gardening in Maybrat Regency. The incident took place in a remote area of Maybrat, where the injured farmer accidentally fell while using a machete, resulting in a deep wound on his hand. Upon hearing the distressing news, the Yonif 501/BY soldiers on duty immediately rushed to the location and provided life-saving first aid to stop the bleeding and stabilize the victim’s condition.
