YAHUKIMO - The Task Force Infantry Battalion (Satgas Yonif) 6 Marines, part of the HABEMA Operations Command in Papua, continues to demonstrate its dedication to the people of Papua. While carrying out the RI-PNG Mobile Border Security Operation in Yahukimo Regency, the Marine Task Force ensured that children received proper nutrition by distributing nutritious milk during patrols on Tuesday (04/02/2025).
This initiative is more than just a routine mission—it reflects the deep concern of the Yonif 6 Marine Task Force for the younger generation in Papua. By providing essential nutrition, the task force contributes to improving the quality of human resources in the region, ensuring that Papuan children grow strong and healthy to become the nation’s future leaders.
Lt. Col. Marinir Rismanto Manurung, S.M., M.Tr. Opsla., CTMP., Commander of Task Force Yonif 6 Marines, emphasized that their mission in Papua is not only about securing territorial integrity but also about engaging in constructive social activities.
"The smiles and happiness of these children are what we strive for. We are here not only to maintain security but also to bring joy and support to the people of Yahukimo Regency, " said Lt. Col. Rismanto.

Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, Commander of HABEMA Operations, acknowledged and appreciated the initiative taken by Task Force Yonif 6 Marines. He emphasized that helping to meet basic needs, such as nutrition, is a crucial part of the Indonesian military’s role in Papua.
