TNI Habema Task Force and Intan Jaya Resort Police Unite for Papua’s Food Security

INTAN JAYA - In a remarkable display of unity and commitment to Papua’s development, the Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) 509 Kostrad joined forces with the Intan Jaya Resort Police and other security units to support food security and agricultural sustainability. This initiative took shape through a simultaneous Cassava and Taro Planting program in Intan Jaya, Papua, on Wednesday (5/2/2025).

The event was a testament to the strong synergy between TNI, Polri, and other security forces, emphasizing agriculture as a vital source of livelihood for local communities. Representing Task Force Yonif 509 Kostrad, Lieutenant Chk Irawan Suharto, Pasiter Task Force Yonif 509 Kostrad, participated directly alongside members of the Intan Jaya Police and other security forces, fostering a spirit of solidarity and togetherness.

In his speech, Lieutenant Chk Irawan Suharto highlighted the importance of food security in ensuring a prosperous future for the community.
